My first visit with Dr Solaway was terrible to say the least. After waiting 2+ hours in the waiting room and another 2+ hours in the exam room I received about t min of the Dr. Time. This man is incredibly full of himself and lacks bed side manors In everyway possible. I was under his care for a few years and after several cortisone shots in my ankle I needed foot surgery due to the cortisone deterioration of two joints in my foot that required surgery this past March and I'm only 39 years old.
Doesn't have patience. Won't let you speak, he interrupts you when your asking questions about your diagnosis.
BIGGEST MISTAKE I EVER MADE.... I went to him for a second opinion on my shoulder which had been diagnosed as arthritis and bone spurs in the rotator cuff with surgery concerns. Sitting in the waiting room I noticed the walls are crammed-full with huge plaques of medical awards - none of them for him. - This doctor diagnosed me in 2 minutes without having seen an xray saying I had tendonitis. When I said "no" I have these other problems he said "Every problem you have in your shoulder begins with tendonitis" If I had been smart i would have left his office at that moment. Then he shot me up with steroids injections (which were painfull and deep) then asked me to swing my arm in a wide circle to "move the fluid around my shoulder". In an hour when the anesthetic wore off I was in so much more pain than i had before. My shoulder has sharp nerve pain now when i move my arm up and out to reach for anything. The pain has only gotten worse as time has gone by. This doctor is a hack. A crack-pot! Please stay away!
I called twice to make appointment for my mom and asked for interpreter service (over phone)..they twice said they have such service only to tell her once she was there thwy dont have it !!!!! THEY SUCK !! Im telling evertine whi soeaks Spanish not to go there and give their money to another doctor!
He saved my life he is well worth the wait. People complain about the wait,that's because he is worth it and has a lot of patients. That alone should tell you something. I highly recommend him to everyone. He is my earthly Angel that I have been praying for been sick and bedridden for years. Now I feel alive hope and not dead. He is very thoural and knows his stuff. Not about the money but truly cares about people and there Health.
Stay far away from this Dr as I learned the hard way.
