The staff is also really intolerant. When they found out one of their students was gay, they not only kicked him out but called him a disgusting abomination. What happened to "love thy brother although he has sinned"? Kick him out if you must but at least be civilized about it.
Don't send your kids to a Christian School. Just send them to church and if you feel the need, teach them more yourself. They won't learn anything in this school.
I get that it's a Christian School, but there is such a thing as overkill. The religion gets in the way of Science, Math, Literature, and History, which should be the school's priority. If you want children to attend an assembly every Thursday and a seminar every Friday, which takes over an entire class period I might add, become a church instead. If you fail Bible class, you will be held back. I was so far behind with my math and Spanish (which they don't teach until the 6th grade) that I was completely lost when I got to public school.
They did something really ridiculous once. They bought a $2000 curtain to separate the gym so that the boys wouldn't be tempted to look at the girls. What a waste of money! No wonder the tuition for this place is outrageous!
